Howdy People,
Firstly, I'll discuss Google maps. I've used Google maps before, mostly on my iPad when I'm at home and can't be bothered having to get up and go into my car to pull out my refedex.
Google maps does give you a number of ways to get to a place if you ask for directions, on the other hand, most of these seem to be along main roads, which in peak hour I tend to try to avoid, so it's useful, but doesn't always give the routes I'd most like to take. At the end of the day, I much prefer using my refedex to Google maps. I can find a route all on my own with it, and when my refedex comes off the seat next to me and loses my place, like it always inevitably does, at least it doesn't break like my iPad would if the scenario was reversed.
As for Google Docs.....I find them very useful. I've used Google Docs are a few times, mostly when I want to save something somewhere I can get access to it from anywhere, and with Google Docs I can do that. It took me awhile to get used to it, as I'm so used to using Microsoft Word, but now that I'm well acquainted with Google Docs, I quite enjoy using it.
I think it is an useful idea - you can access it anywhere provided you have access to the internet. And it's easy to use, and easy to get access to your documents when you need them, for instance, I can get access to them right now because I'm already logged into google on that account to write this blog.
Off to do Task 5,
